With an increasing number of us working from home, the popularity of desks is soaring. Greenway Furniture is proud to offer two new desks which are space-efficient, eye-catching and eco-friendly.

Greenway Furniture specialises in items made from reclaimed wood or sustainable sources. With a particular focus on living and dining room furniture, our collections span a number of styles, from perennially popular oak to more eclectic choices, such as rustic and industrial.

Both the Asia and Chamba desks share a number of qualities. Made by skilled craftsmen, the eclectic, colourful wood has been reclaimed from old Indian shipping vessels and buildings, much of which dates back to the middle of the past century.

The timber has been finished with a protective and resilient satin lacquer, preserving and enhancing the beauty of the reclaimed wood.

At just over 1 metre wide, the Chamba desk is the more compact of the two – ideal for those homes where a desk is needed but space is at a premium. Two drawers provide handy storage for paperwork and the iron legs help to provide a sturdy worksurface.

Meanwhile, at 1.5 metres wide, the Asia desk features an innovative lid, allowing you to lift the surface to reveal a hidden storage area – great for tidying work away at the end of the working day. The steel leg frames and drawer handles add the finishing touches to a desk that’s a pleasure to work at.

New Eco-Friendly Desks

An added bonus is that both desks have the versatility to double-up as dressing tables, and so can be used throughout the day.

Both the Asia and Chamba desks are available now from www.greenwayfurniture.co.uk.
