Talking Tables have made ground-breaking steps to remove all plastic from packaging. Both product and packaging can be easily recycled at home. We have added a handy prompt on every product to remind you to recycle once you have finished enjoying.
The home recyclable cups are a worlds first! We have innovated a new waterproof barrier to line the cup. In the past the waterproof lining on paper cups was laminated and contained plastic. This meant paper cups could not be recycled at home.
The new cups are much more sustainable:
- The inner membrane is waterproof but contains no plastic, hence you can recycle the cup at home in your domestic recycling scheme. This is new technology.
- The plastic shrinkwrap typically found on cups has also been removed. We have replaced the plastic wrap with a smart printed card sleeve which can also be recycled at home
- They are also manufactured in Europe, so they have travelled fewer miles too.
