If you are planning on updating your listings on fans then please consider the Meaco fan range of 5 fans.
Available from the Meaco web site, Amazon, and a number of retailers, they are award winning fans.
A few tips for getting the most from your fan is to keep it clean. A hugely popular You Tube video with Meaco customers explains just how to do that!
MeacoFan 1056 and MeacoFan 1056 P (pedestal version)
This has a Good Housekeeping Institute listing and Which? Best Buy and is Quite Mark certified.
The largest of the Meaco fans, capable of moving 1056cm³ of air per hour.
This has twelve fan speeds capable of cooling the largest of rooms.
The multi-directional oscillation ensures that cool air circulates throughout the whole room by bouncing the air off walls and ceilings, so that every part of the room and everyone in the room feels the benefits.
An ECO mode automatically changes the fan speed as the room temperature changes, providing a simple, one touch control.
Quiet Mark accreditation is due to the low energy DC fan motor ensuring ultra-low noise.
At night the Off Timer will silently turn the fan off and the display light can be turned on or off as required. For help with operating the remote at night, there is a spotter lump on the down speed button to help you work out where you are on the remote in the dark.
A pedestal version was developed and built following customer demand. According to Chris Michael, MD of Meaco “customers were looking for a floor fan, as they had no spare furniture space to place the current 1056 model on. They can now use their floor space, and also have the fan above the height of objects that might otherwise have obstructed the airflow. This makes it perfect for the bedroom or a home office setup.”

One tip to get to the most out of your fan, is to open two windows, and place a MeacoFan so that it is blowing the air out of one of the windows. This sucks the hot air out of the room, while cooler fresh air comes in from the other window resulting in a significant drop in temperature in a very short time.

Meaco has long understood the importance of saving consumers money, by creating quality products that fulfil customer needs, work quietly and efficiently, and all at a low running cost. Their Low Energy range was launched back in 2012, and with so much confidence in their superior build quality, they list the ‘cost to run per hour’ on every product page, something no other competitor does. For consumers to have this information, a great deal of money can be saved over the lifespan of a product.
Read here how buying a Meaco product instead of a competitors could save consumers over £700 over 5 years.
With its commitment to the environment and sustainability, Meaco no longer uses any polystyrene packaging for its fans, air purifiers and humidifiers, but 100% recyclable cardboard eggshell packaging. All Meaco products come with a two-year parts and labour warranty, as well as the option of extending the warranty to a total of five years.
