Kheerganga is a peaceful place up in the hills of Parvati valley. Kheerganga is perched at an elevation of 3,050m above sea level. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the place has religious importance. At the top of Kheerganga an old temple of Lord Shiva is situated. It is said that Lord Shiva meditated here for more than 1000 years. Kheerganga is also famous for its natural hot springs. The hot water pool which is known as Parvati Kund is separated into two parts one side for males and one for females. It is believed that the water of the Parvati valley is pure and cures any type of skin ailment.

Kheerganga is an easy trek and can be done at any time of the year. The trek is ideal for first-time trekkers and as well as experienced trekkers. It stands on the elevation of 3020 meters above sea level and the total distance of the trek is 12 km that can be covered in 8 to 10 hours.
How to reach kheerganga trek
By road- you can drive your own vehicle from Delhi to Kasol. The journey from Delhi to Kasol is of 12hrs covering the distance of 565kms. You can also reach by bus from Delhi to bhuntar. And once you reach bhuntar change take the bus to Manikaran and reach kasol.
By rail- the nearest railway station to kheerganga is Joginder railway station afterward, you can take a cab to kasol.
By airways- the nearest airport to kasol is The Bhuntar Airport. Upon reaching Bhuntar, you can hire a private taxi to reach Barshaini or Kasol.
